Finding A Better Way

The Power of Prayer Tina Fuller and Jeanne DeFazio I host a weekly prayer line as an outreach ministry. It grew from my personal understanding of the words of Jesus "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20). We come together to praise, thank Jesus along with daily supplications. We pray the words of Psalm 91 for protection over ourselves  and our loved ones and take Holy Communion together. The words of a popular Christian Worship song "I am Desperate For You" explains the prayer line’s popularity: "I'm desperate for You, all I know to do Is only to let go and fall at Your feet So just as I am, with these empty hands I give everything, all I have, all of me I'm desperate for You I'm desperate for You."
